With over 35 years of experience in care, education, and specialist support settings, Mike will play a key role in strengthening relationships with schools, healthcare providers, and care professionals, ensuring BitePRO® continues to develop protective solutions that support those working in challenging environments.
Mike Bird’s background includes 20 years in the UK prison service, where he specialised in managing challenging behaviours and complex individuals. More recently, he has worked closely with Secure Children’s Homes, Special Educational Needs (SEN) schools, and mental health facilities, advising senior managers on strategies to protect staff from biting, scratching, and other challenging behaviours.
In his new role at BitePRO®, Mike Bird will focus on:
